Master Guardian I is the first rank in its echelon, immediately following the Gold Nova Master rank. Players that have the MG 1 rank typically have great aim both with pistols and rifles, as well as with grenades. 

Moreover, the players that reach Master Guardian I already play well with others, which means that they are good teammates to have, both for the gameplay itself and for communication. While reaching this rank means that you play at a high level, you are most likely not ready to play at the very top-tier level gameplay that major tournaments require. 

How to Improve on Master Guardian I

One of the best parts about playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the space to improve that the game provides you with. You shouldn’t be satisfied with just reaching Master Guardian CSGO as a rank. So, if you’re looking to get even better, you should start by training on various different maps in various different game modes. You can even use bots at their highest difficulty to help you hone your skillset. 

Beyond that, you can try playing headshot-only deathmatches, which provide you with ample opportunity to improve your aim, as you can only kill an opponent via headshot. Alternatively, you can improve your aim by practicing playing with a sniper rifle. Though not as fast-paced, playing with a sniper rifle well can separate you from the others as a particularly proficient player.
