Everything You Need To Know About CS:GO Fracture Case

Skins are a huge part of the game for many Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players, all of which must first be obtained from cases. As a result, Valve is constantly introducing new weapon collections and cases to the game in order to keep the CSGO skin economy active. In this article, we’ll teach you everything you need to know about the Fracture Case.
1

What Is The Fracture Case

The Fracture Case is one of the many cases available in CSGO. The case was released as part of the “On The Case” update on August 6th 2020, and contains a collection of 17 different skins designed by carefully selected artists from the CSGO community. The Fracture Case, just like most other cases, grants a randomized reward from the 17 available skins when opening it.

In order to open a Fracture Case you must first purchase a key for $2.49, and then open the case from your inventory in-game. When opening the case you’ll have a chance to receive one of the skins from within at random in one of several different rarities, patterns, and wears. Your item will then appear in your in-game inventory and can be traded and sold after the 7-day trade lock ends.

How To Obtain The Fracture Case

When the Fracture Case was first introduced to CSGO, players could obtain them as a standard weapon case drop from playing official matches of CSGO in a variety of different game modes. This meant that players could earn the Fracture Case for free simply by playing the game.

However, the case has since been removed as a standard weapon case drop, so the only way to obtain a Fracture Case now is to purchase one from other players via the Steam Community Marketplace, or from a third-party marketplace. Alternatively, you can also trade directly with other players on Steam who have the case in their inventories already.
