How To Fast Forward CS:GO Replay

Match replays in CSGO are called a demo. You can download any competitive match you have played, and you can also download pro matches. Valve servers keep the demos 28 days after you have played a game. You can download it by doing the following steps:

• Open the CS:GO client
• Click on the TV icon on the left (watch)
• Click on Your Matches in the menu at the top of the screen
• Choose the match and download

Once you download it, your demos are kept on the hard drive for as long as you want to, and you can launch them at any time. You can find the demo on the following path: SteamsteamappscommonCounter-Strike Global Offensivecsgo. It is recommended to rename the file because that makes it easier to launch.

If you want to download pro matches, you can do so online on specialized gaming websites or tournament operators’ websites. After you do that, you will be able to access them in your downloads folder.

• Use the demo_gototick command. With the demo_gototick command, you can set your film to the tick number you want. You can also do it with a minute value. For example, demo_gototick 10min will take your playback to the 10th minute. 

• Use the demo_timescale command. The demo_timescale command determines how fast is the playback speed. You can set the playback speed on any number you like. For example, by typing ‘demo_timescale 0.5’, you set the speed to 0.5 times the normal speed instead of ‘demo_timescale 5’, which will put the speed to 5 times the normal speed.

Watching replays of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is useful, as you can analyze your weaknesses, opposing team tactics, and pro-team strengths.
