The Best AK47 Skins In CS (Top 10)
Throughout Counter-Strike’s long history, Valve has released an abundance of AK-47 skins. These skins were either designed by their own employees, or created by community members through workshop submissions. Either way, we have a long list of incredible AK-47 skins on the market. However, in this article, we’re going to whittle down the choices and only highlight the top ten AK-47 skins.
AK-47 | Vulcan
Despite being one of the oldest CSGO AK skins to date, the Vulcan has remained as one of the top choices for this rifle for the longest time. It has been painted with a sports inspired design, featuring vibrant colors such as white, light blue, and hues of black. Overall, the Vulcan does not have a super complicated pattern, and is a sleek, minimalistic design.
What’s interesting is that the AK-47 | Vulcan is submitted by a community member. Obviously, a skin as clean as this one easily received Valve’s seal of approval, and it was released in 2014 as a part of the Huntsman Weapon Case.
Unfortunately, such a skin is going for a little over $100 at its worst condition, and almost reaches the $1,000 for a Factory New copy. If you have the budget to splurge, you can place blue-colored stickers on it such as the Cloud9 logo.

- Price Range: $103.59 – $990.00
- Collection: The Huntsman Collection
AK-47 | Fuel Injector
We’re big fans of minimalistic concepts, and heavily appreciate the design for the Fuel Injector. This skin features a simple color scheme with yellow as its main player. The bright body is accompanied by intricate patterns on the weapon’s magazine, giving it a nice mix of touches.
The AK-47 | Fuel Injector was released in February 2016 as a part of the Operation Wildfire Weapon Case and quickly rose to be one of the most sought-out CSGO AK skins due to how eye-catching it is.
The Fuel Injector’s bright yellow body also works well as a sticker canvas. There are many sticker colors that work exceptionally well with the skin, but Natus Vincere stickers easily fit the best. The skin costs anywhere from the $100 to $500 mark, making it a very pricey choice. However, we think the Fuel Injector is worth every buck.

- Release Date: 18 February 2016
- Price Range: $111.16 – $520.50
- Collection: The Wildfire Collection
AK-47 | Inheritance
The AK-47 | Inheritance is one of the newest additions to the rifle’s skin lineup, being released recently in 2024 in Counter-Strike 2’s first weapon case, the Kilowatt Case. This skin is another workshop submission, and its design is inspired by traditional Chinese porcelain design and Delft Blauw art.
Overall, the skin uses a white base with detailed patterns in dark blue color. However, the magazine is the opposite, and features intricate golden designs over a dark blue coat. It only takes one glance to realize that the Inheritance is a premium-tier AK-47 skin.
Despite still being a new skin, the AK-47 | Inheritance isn’t as expensive as its peers at the top of the list. You can get a Factory New version just shy of $200. This price range could help you save some extra money to apply stickers such as the Blue Gem and Lotus glitter stickers.
- Flavor Text: “A “family” heirloom, passed through generations”
- Release Date: 7 February 2024
- Price Range: $54.79 – $199.54
- Collection: The Kilowatt Collection
AK-47 | Fire Serpent
Next on the list, we’ll highlight one of the most iconic weapon skins in the game: the AK-47 | Fire Serpent. The Fire Serpent is a classic Counter-Strike skin, released all the way in September 2013 in the Operation Bravo Collection. It is a memento from Ruins that has been painted with a motif of a fire serpent that spits fire.
Legendary Counter-Strike players such as Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund have wielded this skin in the game’s largest stage. The Swede nicknamed his Fire Serpent “Sprayquaza,” which is inspired by the legendary Pokémon Rayquaza.
Since Operation Bravo cases are extremely pricey at almost $50 each, it’s not too surprising that an AK-47 | Fire Serpent with a good float value is worth over $1,000. If you’re already spending this much on virtual pixels, might as well go all out and buy Crown (Foil) stickers and apply them on your Fire Serpent!
- Flavor Text: “If you want to survive in the streets, learn to spit fire”
- Release Date: 19 September 2013
- Price Range: $610.50 – $1,503.70
- Collection: The Bravo Collection
AK-47 | Asiimov
The Asiimov family needs no introduction, as it is one of the most popular groups of skins in Counter-Strike history. The AK-47 version is one of the later additions of the skinline, being released in December 2018 as a part of the Danger Zone Weapon Case.
Thanks to its sci-fi design with eye-catching colors, the AK-47 | Asiimov didn’t take long to become one of the most prominent rifle skins in the game. It features orange and black hues over a white base coat, featuring a futuristic design that stands out among its peers.
This bad boy will cost you well over $230 for a Minimal Wear copy, which is the highest condition for this weapon skin. Many professional team stickers work exceptionally well with the AK-47 | Asiimov, most notably Virtus.Pro, Natus Vincere, and Fnatic. The Battle Scarred (Holo) sticker also looks fabulous on it.
- Flavor Text: “Anyone can predict the future… a visionary shapes it”
- Release Date: 6 December 2018
- Price Range: $23.63 – $231.32
- Collection: The Danger Zone Collection
AK-47 | Bloodsport
The AK-47 | Bloodsport is one of the greatest red skins ever released in Counter-Strike history. It was introduced to the game in March 2017 as a part of the first Spectrum Collection. This mesmerizing skin has been covered in white, Japanese logo decals over a red and black hydrographic.
The genius behind the skin is a community member named SLIMEface, who is also responsible for other awesome skins such as the P250 | Wingshot, the Galil AR | Sugar Rush, and the two other Bloodsport skins available in the game.
Unfortunately, the Bloodsport is still pricey even in Battle-Scarred condition, as this skin will cost you no less than $100. If you still manage to get this skin on your hands, we recommend some Natus Vincere or Battle Scarred stickers to pair with this beauty.
- Flavor Text: “Co-driver wanted”
- Release Date: 16 March 2017
- Price Range: $118.33 – $149.31
- Collection: The Spectrum Collection
AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel
The next skin on the list is an edgy, yet well-designed AK-47 skin: the Wasteland Rebel. The Wasteland Rebel is no stranger in the Counter-Strike skin market, as it was released in November 2014 as a part of the Operation Vanguard update, meaning it is a ten-year-old skin.
The skin is distressed, block printed, and painted with lots of white-colored graffiti. Overall, the skin has a very chaotic design, as there’s a lot going on. It is a great rifle skin to pick up if you want to stray away from the minimalistic and sleek designs we’ve been featuring on the list so far.
Even though the Wasteland Rebel has been out for nearly a decade, the skin remains relatively expensive, as you’ll have to reach out for your wallet and grab $300 for a Factory New version. If you want to embrace a cartel approach to the skin, the Drug War Veteran sticker is perfect to apply on this weapon skin.
- Flavor Text: “One day they will ask why we fight, and when they do they will understand – Naomi, Bodyguard to Valeria Jenner”
- Release Date: 11 November 2014
- Price Range: $27.03 – $327.59
- Collection: The Vanguard Collection
AK-47 | Redline
The AK-47 | Redline is another classic skin, and is the only Classified grade skin on this list! The Redline is a pink-rarity skin of the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, which was introduced in February 2014. The skin is as simple as it gets, following a carbon fiber hydrographic and dry-transfer decal of a red pinstripe.
The Redline becomes an attractive choice for minimalist enjoyers who prefer sleek and clean designs. Fortunately, you can already grab one of these for less than $15. However, if you have extra room to work with, you can grab the Redline in its best condition for a little over $100.
Red-colored stickers work best with the black body of the AK-47 | Redline. The Battle Scarred sticker becomes a great choice, but you can also utilize team stickers such as Astralis or FaZe Clan if you’re a fan of any of these teams.
- Flavor Text: “Never be afraid to push it to the limit”
- Release Date: 20 February 2014
- Price Range: $12.97 – $108.00
- Collection: The Phoenix Collection
AK-47 | The Empress
If you’re not into simple designs, then the AK-47 | The Empress is probably what you’re looking for. Despite being a relatively affordable skin (compared to the others on this list), The Empress offers players a well-detailed design of an Empress tarot card as inspiration.
You can already get yourself a copy of this skin for as low as $25, but you’ll have to spend $125 more for a Factory New version, which isn’t too crazy for a Covert-tier skin. The creators of this skin were also in charge of making the M4A4 | The Emperor skin, which is the direct counterpart of The Empress.
We don’t really recommend applying stickers to The Empress, as the intricate designs will be covered up. However, you can still apply Natus Vincere stickers or a few from the Sticker Capsule 2 collection.
- Flavor Text: “Wealth comes in many forms”
- Release Date: 14 September 2017
- Price Range: $25.91 – $155.75
- Collection: The Spectrum 2 Collection
AK-47 | Neon Rider
Last but not least, we have the eye-catching Neon Rider to close the list. The Neon Rider was released in August 2018 and is a Covert skin in the Horizon Collection. The creator of the skin, Puffin, also made the SSG 08 | Dragonfire, which is another Covert skin in the Glove Collection.
This AK-47 skin features a deadly biker in the foreground of various neon patterns, giving the skin a very attention-grabbing look. These neon colors make the Neon Rider the perfect skin to paste various Holo stickers such as the Broken Fang or PGL stickers.
The skin isn’t as pricey as others, and you can already get it in Minimal Wear condition for less than $100. However, we recommend getting a StatTrak version of the skin to build upon its brightness with additional lighting and detail.
- Flavor Text: “Two parts Trapper Keeper, three parts synthesizer”
- Release Date: 3 August 2018
- Price Range: $25.30 – $151.45
- Collection: The Horizon Collection
