What Is The Most Profitable CS2/CSGO Case

It’s been over ten years since the very first case was released in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) which allowed players to unbox cases and potentially receive rare drops. Ever since then, the Counter-Strike community has been hooked. With that in mind, today we’re taking a look at the most profitable cases in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) so that you can make an informed decision about which cases to open, and which to potentially avoid.

Are Cases Profitable in CS2?

Before we look into the most profitable cases in CS2, we should first establish whether there are any profitable ones in the first place. Put briefly, the answer is no – there are no consistently profitable cases to unbox in CS2. It’s important to keep in mind that Valve wants to make a profit from their games, so this is to be expected. However, there are still many ways to potentially make a profit, with some cases having better chances than others based on current market prices and trends.

When looking at the case opening data from 2023, it clearly states that in most cases you will lose money opening cases with Valve earning millions of dollars from cases. Regardless, there’s always a chance to get lucky and open one of those rare items. Some cases have a higher chance of leaving you with a profit than others, which is exactly what we’re going to explore in this article.
